Anode material for all-solid-state battery

All-solid-state batteries are next-generation high-capacity lithium-ion battery that have no fire risk and have high capacity. E-cube materials is also developing the most suitable canode for next-generation batteries. The anode for all-solid-state battery stores lithium in a different way from conventional lithium-ion batteries. Our new way is forming pores on the surface of carbon fiber with excellent electrical conductivity and forming a metal alloy layer that can evenly stack lithium. Our new way lithium deposition without dendrite is enabling high capacity, long life, and fast electron transfer.
Carbon fiber is pure carbon, has excellent electrical conductivity and low potential, making it the most suitable material for battery anode material. Carbon fiber is converted into the most suitable anode material through surface treatment.

A metal layer is formed on the surface-treated carbon fiber to induce even adhesion of lithium. A metal layer with the same potential suppresses dendrite formation of lithium and enables the attachment of a large amount of lithium.
Carbon fiber-based amode have a much higher capacity than graphite and lower capacity than non-anode Cu-foil, but they are highly competitive due to their fast charging and discharging ability and excellent lifespan.
